Issiah Mustafa, who was a star receiver at Arizona State, signed with the Seattle Seahawks in 2000. No one would have expected that ten years later he would be making a name for himself in the entertainment industry. He has recently been cast in a film with Jennifer Anniston.
Mustafa began his rise to fame through his character “The Old Spice Guy”, but more specifically, his rock hard six pack abs. He’s been compared to The Situation, but had a few words regarding that.
“Who names themselves the Situation?” he asks. “I do not take myself seriously like that – not in the least bit – that would be so pretentious.”
Other than a few small roles in ‘Chuck’ and ‘NCIS’, the upcoming star is fairly new to the industry. His role is still quite small in the comedy, which is called Horrible Bosses, but he’s thrilled to be playing the role.
“I’m playing a cop because I play these authoritative characters well. I don’t know exactly who I’m in the scene with – maybe Jennifer Aniston,” he said.
